How about seeing the total time a module is on
« on: December 09, 2004, 01:58:45 PM »

How about the ability to see how long a
module has been on the last day, week exc.
I know you could probally figure it out
right now, by looking at the log file
(eww!).  It would be nice however if your
could just put your mouse over a letter on
the module and it will show you the use of
that module, just like with the history (H).
I am carious just how much my lights are on
that are connected to a motion sensor.

Thanks

U'rs is an interesting idea.  It may have
uses we can't imagine, but to play "devil's
advocate," I think X10's got enough on their
plates as it is.

Watch and record your power meter - you
will soon learn what is happening with your
lights (and other power users). Keeping
track of this information dailly will let
you spot any unusual tendencies that occur.

I make note of my meter reading dailly and
can tell when something unusual is
happening - my power use is higher. I have
a camera setup to display on a TV when I
want to take the reading - no going outside
in this cold weather, and an EXCEL file for
logging and to keep a history.
