*PLEASE* post in the Correct Section - it will get you a speedier reply (posting about iWitness will get faster replies if posted in that section).

In order to stop a lot of the double posts and repeat answers, please take the time to do a SEARCH on your problem! I've read where Users say they don't want to read through 25 posts to find their answer. So, why are you going to make it 26 for the next person? To make it easier for some new Users, I'll attempt to list some helpful LINKs. Chances are YOUR answer is in one of them! There are a lot of very informative posts from older Users buried deep in this board! "Seek and ye shall find..."

THIS LIST IS AN ON GOING PROJECT SO HOPEFULLY IT WILL HELP US ALL!

I've added a helpfull tips and suggestions thread to each Active Home Pro Plug-in section of the forum so check there for specific Plug-in questions/issues!
Helpful Hints and Suggestions(MyHouse Online)
Helpful Hints and Suggestions (iWitness/iWatchout)
Helpful Hints and Suggestions (Smart Macros)
Tips and Helpfull Suggestions (OnAlert)
Note: these are only sample links if they don't answer your question try the Advanced Search function (located at the top of the screen to the right of the search button) you'll find others!
If you have any other ideas for key words or ones you have used to find your answers PLEASE private message me and I'll add them or any other Community Organizer or Expert Advisor
 ;) :D
Also if you find a post that is similar to what your looking for but doesn't help you post to it! Chances are the person that started the link may have the answer for you, it will also keep a good post from getting buried!
When posting supply as much info about your system as possible it really does help others understand what is going on with your setup!
Also post what you've tried already no need to be told to do something you already tried!

Recent windows 7 update has cause a issue with AHP and in some cases other thirdparty software to fail to open.
this will fix that as well.

With the recent events reinstalling AHP to cure issues isn't possible.
The download servers currently aren't all back up and running.
However this has caused users to get creative.
Backing up your AHP folder then installing the free Marmitec version of AHP (European version). will get you AHP again.
Taking your back up and overwriting the files the Marmitec version created in the AHP folder will give you back the north American version (modules, holidays and cities)
Note: this backup can be from any windows version from any PC  :)%

Also I found (with windows 8.1 at least) a reinstall of AHP is not always needed.
A install of the SDK will usually fix issues with x10nets.
Also deleting or renaming the file C:\ users\all users\x10settings\X10Active.xml then restarting AHP will solve most AHP start issues.
