I am happy to here it is not only me. I have been on with tech support so many times and they can be down right nasty. Every thing is my falt and no one else is having trouble. I have never been able to access from any other computer in our home or workplace.
No, it's not just you. I've spoken to a few people who are having the same problems with Tech Support and MyHouse Online. I think they forget that were not all "newbies" and that maybe some of us can actually open a port and understand why. As for installing their software, Yeah, some of us know what were doing. I have spoken to a few people who are programers and network administrators for major organizations and their having the same problems we seem to be having. They don't exactly get treated any better when talking with Tech Support for x10. Some people have just given up and plain and simply want their money back.
I'm still trying to conect from the AHP server to X10's server since Saturday, morning. Still nothing, I think it's tried to connect over 1000 times and still no connection. Not worth calling support, they'll tell me that I need to reinstall the software again. Can't get them to understand that it was working (sometimes), no changes made to the system at all as it is only used by AHP so there should be no need to reinstall but they'll tell me to do it anyways.
Let's see if they come out with an update this week as I read them stating to another customer of AHP in this Forum. Hmmmm.....
Would be nice to just be able to bypass x10 servers and connect direct to our server that are running AHP. Hmmmmm...
