What's the voltage in Saudi Arabia?

Socket Rockets are designed for 110 Volts, 60 HZ. Unless X10 Eorope makes Socket Rockets for use in non US/Canada, you are out of luck.

Take the light bulb out of the socket and measure the diameter of the bulb base. If it is US standard thread, then a Socket Rocket will fit. If it isn't US/Canada standard, there should be screw-in converters available from electrical supply houses either in the emirate or in the United States.

hello,
I am writing a program for Snooker Clubs with a X10 controller for the table lights  etc and wondered if the following statement was true?
Tip: Use a long life bulb, and change before the end of its life. Sometimes the Socket Rocket can lock in the 'on' position when the light bulb blows.

Regards
Jason.

Jason; Some light bulbs when that blow out can damage the Socket Rocket from the surge they produce. Basically they are stuck on from the damaged triac [electronic part thet controls the AC]. Some have found brands of bulbs that are better in them. Could be how they are constructed. Changing before blow out would also stop such failures; but how often would have to be thought out.
Though X10 will say do not use CFL Lights in a Socket Rocket. Some work fine. Though I have brands that also generate enough noise to make the off signal to the Socket Rocket too weak to go off.
