I have had an X10 system now for about 8 or 10 years and have upgraded to the CM-15 USB system.  Everything was working fine until recently my timed dim settings don't set properly at initial turn on.  They dim to 0% instead of what I have set.  When I try it manually sometimes it dims correctly - sometimes I have to turn it off and on again and it is affecting all of my lights.  I reset my CM-15 even trying the thumping chest method and even tried a new CM15 with the same results.  Every once in a while when I dim something manually, when I let go of the slider it goes back to 100% and won't stay dimmed.  I also reloaded my X10 program.  Any ideas on what is going on?  Thanks.

what does your old system still consist of with the new CM15A now? repeaters?
guessing range cause CM15A doesn't transmit as far as the CM11A/RR501 did?
any TM751's in the setup?
Anything is Possible, NOW!! But What can I afford?!

dwight Since you've been using X10 for awhile and every thing was working ok there are a couple of things which could have happened!
1: You have a module configured incorrectly in AHP easy to do. ( I removed a tm751 but forgot to tell AHP that I replaced it with a regular module took a week to figure that one out! :-[ )
2: Your AHP ahx file has become corrupt (Hard to spot) usually happens right after an update. This is the one I'm thinking is the cause. :(  If you have a backup AHX file load it and see if you experiance the same problems. If you don't have a backup you'll have to rebuild your existing one.reverting back to the last update usualy won't fix the corrupt ahx file.

I just started having the same problem with dimming lights. What was added was a 4826B Repeater. I unplug the repeater and everything seems to go back to normal. Seems like 3 seconds after the command is issued, it is resent by the repeater messing up the AHP software. Does anyone know of a way to disable the repeater portion of the 4826B?
