install issues I get error code 26

While attempting to intall I get error code 26 "cannot communicate on network server". I diabled my firewall and antivirus software still get same error.

Any ideas?

X10 has had server issues before give it a few hours and try again. If it still wont work call support. ;)

Have tried for over 24 hours with same results. disabled all firewall apps and all virus protect aps and I am now ready to return this package.

Have you contacted support?
Perhaps this is a known glich which they can walk you threw. ???

Let's just say that I have tried to contact support.

email, online, on hold for longer than I can handle.

No luck, it looks like I wasted my money

I understand your frustration!
To bad X10 Pro is away this week and last as he'd have a better idea as to the cause and fix.
Have you tried installing in "safe mode"?(sometimes this is the only way to install things although it shouldn't be with AHP)
Have you entred msconfig and stopped other "Hidden" programs from running on startup ? Chances some other hardware or software is messing up the install. Some ATI stuff is known to do this.
