? about cm11a, dimming with multiple transmissions checked

sometimes some lights dim and sometimes they don't. how far apart are multiple transmissions, how many are there, and are they set far enough to circumvent problems with dimming (brightness). (btw, I am running a coupler/amp and don't usually have any problems with on/off transmissions only dimming. could the multiple tranmissions be close enough together to be causing collisions?)
