Hi All,
First off I have to start by saying Im a newbie, so forgive me in advance if I ask a stupid question. I recently purchased a system:
Active home pro
iWitness
Smart Macro
3 xx20 b+w cams
1 instant on wide eye color xx17
6 motion sensors
15a usb interface
11a usb capture
 four v36 receivers
a whole bunch more crap
My goal was to automate my home like most, and monitor it via the cams, while im away. I got the kit and what looked like instructions but.....
Anyways I couldnt get a clear picture on 3 of the four cameras, so after a week of screwing around with 200 different things i decided to call tech support. They said my answer is called a quad processor and individual video senders set to different house codes so switching problems would be eliminated and I would have the ability to capture actual live video.
I guess they were just kidding and im 200 bucks poorer and twice as frustrated. Can anyone help me.

I guess you already checked that you have no interfeering devices like a wireless network or 2.4 Ghz cordless phone?
From what I have seen you can only have one wireless camera sending at any one time. That is why they are in groups of 4. House code and a unit of 1-4;5-8;9-12 and 13-16. Turn on an one in the group the other three go off.
If you need more than one on at a time. I think they will interfere with each other even if one is on Channel A and another on Channel D; set by the small switch on the camera under the small rubber plug.
Hopefully someone that may have done this can give better details.

I hate to be a wet blanket, but as far as I have been able to find, all of the X10 wireless cameras and video senders use the same radio frequency.  The only way to keep them from interfering with each other is to have only one switched on at a time.

A quad-processor will take four video inputs and merge them onto one video screen, but if all of the cameras/senders are wireless and on the same frequency, they will still interfere with each other's signal.

Basically, if you want to view several cameras at the same time in "real-time" you will probably need wired cameras connected to your quad-processor.
