i'm about sick of this ****!!!!
i have 2 floodcams installed. i only have one turned on since the flood light never goes off and the picture stays on constantly too!!......i thought these cameras were supposed to be motion detected? i thought the lights were supposed to be motion detected?? so why is it that no matter which range i set for the lights or the timing----the lights stay on and obviously the camera does too !!is it the cameras or have i missed something terribly vital  to "smooth performance" here ??  i've tried setting the camera to manual and also to auto and the results are the same. instructions for installation are vague and trying to get an answer from tech support is ZILCH!! trying to find a solution to this problem ol is like digging for a needle in a haystack!!.......WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME  ?????

I don't use the floodcam myself, but the new Wiki-knowledge base has a lot of useul info about all things X10.

I had some of the same issues, at first, realized that my motion sensors for other things were on the same house and code settings, and so changed the floodcam to a C setting and different numbers, and now no problems.  If you still have them on A get them to C or something else.
