Ok to replace PT31A with SK16A ?

Is it ok to replace PT31A (Regular Power Supply) with the SK16A (Addressable Power Supply) on the Xcam?  I purchased some Xcams over the Spring and I don't want them to connect to the Video Sender anymore.
