just what the subject line states this is where I have it as of now and it works great I`m just concerned about rain?

I have mine outside as well but it is located under an overhang!

I have had two located outside for over a year, one protected and one exposed to the weather. Both are still working fine. this is in PA where we get both rain and snow.The only time I ever had a problem was when I mounted one upside down and the rain did get in. Dried it out and it started to work again and I am still using it.

GMBAL4: No problem

I have a wired cam on mine. Cam is over 8 years, pan & tilt Not quite a year. One bit of advice "Don't try to run it after or during a Ice Storm, you could burn out the unit!" Wait for the ice to melt of it first!

Try: Solid shell of ice coating the outside of the unit! You might as well just glue all the moving parts of the case together.

Why not? They have them for CCTV cameras and satellite dishes.
