USB Extender
« on: February 12, 2006, 03:24:43 PM »

I've searched, but that proved to be pretty
much useless.

Has anybody tried a CAT5 "USB Extender",
such as the IOGEAR unit?

I'm very tempted to put the CM15A in the
garage next to the breaker panel.

i am using www.keyspan.com    usb server..
it works great.. i also put it on a x10
modual to reboot when necessary, but ALWAYS
remember to stop the x10 SERVICE in windows
when you are done making changes to your
AHP module, otherwise it will fight with
its self for control.. BTW this is with or
with out the usb server..

I am using the usb extender and found it to
work great. My run is about 120'. I had no
problems with interference. I would say go
for it.
