Humm it use to! Did you click update interface after changing the setting?
Just check mine and the setting stays. ::) ??? (with out having to update the interface)
Since your having so many problem converting from a AH configuration I'm wondering if your AHX file has gotten corrupt!( this happens sometimes with doing updates) A real pain in the #*&%$ to find the error sometimes it is best to start over if one doesn't have a backup!

I'm currently running a BRAND-SPANKING-NEW AHX file. On a totally random (as far as I can tell thus far) basis:

  • "Display Time in 24 Hour Format"
    .
  • "Issue 'On' in Place of 'Bright 100%'"

keep resetting to CLEARED.

I've occasionally had problems that restarting the x10net driver has cured.  Rebooting will do this, but otherwise (in Win XP) you can exit AHP, go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > x10net > restart

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.
