That's the Rube Goldberg of mole detectors! 
I guess you have to be home and ready to do battle with a pitch fork.

Don't they make mole traps?

A quick Google search gave me these. One as cheap as $12.95 but they don't sound near as fun as running out in the middle of the night with a pitchfork.

They don't work that good

Use the Mole Detector with traps to let you know when there is activity!

What gave me the idea is:

I was standing outside looking at where a mole had just went through my yard

Then I saw the ground move, as it came back.

I stomped on it, got a shovel and with one dig, got it.

I have got more with this device.

Oh.......The fun of it

WAF is Low, but not as bad as mole's in yard.

Just don't leave it active when you are gone -------- very low WAF...!!!


Moles don't just run at night.

Mid morning and late afternoon are most active.

Your mole trap requires too much effort.
I like to sit on the porch, drink beer and let a machine take care of the moles.
