Title: Just getting started; need help.
Post by: Nena on October 26, 2007, 10:05:14 PM
Okay, I've installed my floodcams, conected the receiver to my vcr, which is connected to my TV. I've checked all the settings to make sure they match the instructions. The motion sensors are working because the lights do come on.  But still no picture. Any suggestions as to what I might be missing?

If you have the Floodcam's camera mode set to auto and the channel (A/B/C/D) the same on both the Floodcam and Receiver, then you could have a distance or interference problem.

A couple things to try & check for:

1) Adjust the Receiver's antenna; try to move it closer to the Floodcam.
2) Is there any metal objects in a straight line between the Floodcam and the Receiver.
3) Most Wireless Networks and Cordless Phones work at the same 2.4GHz frequency and can interfere with the signal.

Is your receiver set to the correct "channel" and are you sure of your setup to the TV?
