Title: Ehhhhhhhh FFFFFFFFFFF
Post by: mr.foutch on March 13, 2010, 08:53:52 PM
 >*<  B:( My Big Picture kit arrived today, ~8 days in transit after I'd paid for it. Pieces are missing. My video card needs to be able to put out at 640 X 480 resolution (it doesn't). Dammit, I'm getting sick of this #@&*%)!. The enclosed software is on a floppy designed to work w/ Windows 3.x or Windows 95. Who's got a f/$(&@!^ 'n floppy drive anymore. I'm running Windows XP.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Windows XP resolution fix:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/286906 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/286906)

Or, for a temporary fix:
'You can switch your screen resolution temporarily to 640 X 480 if you have games or other programs that are set to run at that resolution. To switch, right-click the game or program (on the desktop or on the Start menu), and then click Properties. Click the Compatibility tab, and then select the Run in 640x480 screen resolution check box. Your display reverts to its default resolution when you close the program.'

Gotta love the Google!   ;D

Oh, and Mr. Foutch...

I have the floppy from The Big Picture Kit.

There is one file on it, 1.34 mb.  If you want it, I can email it to you.

Thanks very much. Now I need to find out where, and how to position my transmitter to get the best reception of a 640 x 480 resolution picture. Once again, thanks for all of your help >!
