Title: flip camera view

Is there anyway to rewire the camera to flip
the view left to right?

I don't think so.  You could try securing
an external mirror to "flip" the view.  Go
to ebay and seach for "wide angle camera".
There are several manufacturers of "keyhole
cameras" designed with 180 degree image
flip.  They are designed to be used in a
car as a backup camera/rear-view mirror
applications.  They are pretty cheap. some
have IR LEDs, some are wide angle, some are
color or B/W.
