Title: CM11 and CM15
Post by: tomb on November 06, 2005, 07:01:12 AM
Can you have a CM11 and CM15 controlling the
same modules?

Reason I ask is that I primarily use a Mac
but Activehome Pro is Windows only.

There is a Mac X10 package that I like but it
will only work with a CM11.

If I could use the CM11/Mac combination it
would save me a trip upstairs to my XP
machine.  ;-)

Thanks,
Thomas

Good Evening,

I see no problems.  You can have as many transmitters and receivers on the system as you like.  There is no theoretical limit to the number of modules on the same code nor the number of transmitters transmitting that code.  The transmitting and receiving devices do have a tuned circuit connected the power line and can attenuate the signal to some extent if they are not generating it.  This would become your limiting factor.  I have about 8 maxi and a few mini controllers on my system without any problems.

Good Luck

Sure you can. I have many modules controlled by more than one controller and more than one module on the same Address.
