turning off time and date in camera view screen

I am looking to disable the time and date view on my camera view screen.  Can you tell me how?

It doesn't sound like you are talking about the time stamp on the recording, so I don't think you can.

You didn't mention which camera you have but

for the xx40a outdoor dome camera look under
audio video>OSD>DISABLE
should turn off your on screen display for day/time.
