Well it seems that the older X10 CM15A has got the new X10 Wifi module beat in one respect. It can actually turn a light on at a given percentage level. I've tried with no success to have our master bathroom light turn on at 50% which has not worked since I got the new X10 Wifi module but, I had no problem doing this same thing (except at 31%) with the older CM15A. The X10 Wifi module turns the light on but, the light barely glows once it's on. It doesn't matter what level I select 12/24, 23/24 the end result was always the same. So for grins I programmed the command address, P6 in this case, as a new device in the X10 Wifi module. In the CM15A this turned on the bathroom light to 31%. IT WORKED! The bathroom light came on this morning at the correct level.
So now I've learned if I want to turn on a light at a certain level I have to give that job to the old CM15A. The end result I'm finding out is that the X10 Wifi module should have been made into a simple wifi translator to receive wifi commands and convert and send them on to the CM15A.
