Expand remote range

I have set up the USB interface in a ranch
style house. The unit is in one end of the
house and a sensor is in the other end. The
system does not receive signals from the
unit when it is that far away. Also noticed
that the remote does not work past a
certain point in the house.
Is there an extender for the remote/sensors?
Or is there a way to increase the range on
these items.

First try the antenna on the interface
Horizontal. That sometimes helps. X10 does
make an RF Repearter but I have no direct
knowledge on if it works.
Some choose to set the interface to no
tranceived house codes and use a third party
all house code receiver like the WGL V572AB.
In a high central location. Some also try an
added tranceiver at the other end of the
buliding, but you have to be careful they
don't step on each other it both units
receive the signals.

Mike ,
You may want to try to centrally locate (up
high) the CM15A and install a passive coupler
on the 220v line to make sure you have signal
transfer between both phases.  There is also
a self installed antenna modification for the
CM15A that will give greater range.  There is
another post here on the forum talking about
that mod.

Mike,

If re-postioning the CM15A does not help,
this might:
