Wireless Video Sender
« on: July 19, 2006, 02:04:39 PM »

I just purchased this product Wireless Video Sender. I am experiencing problems getting my cable box to work with this device.
The cable box has a coax and RCA outputs. I know both of them are live because I tested it on TV together.

As soon as I plug the sender in the RCA outputs the cable box shuts off. It doesn't come on back until I unplug it.
Any ideas?
My plasma is in the master bedroom and it is locate in a weird place. Please help provide a solution.

Do you know if the RCA Jacks are Composite Video and Analog Sound?

thx for replying brian.
I finally got the video to display on the secondary TV.
Here is the new problem. As soon as I pugged the IR cable in box I get "unusable signal."

Any suggestions will help.

PRIMARY TV
========
BTW, in order to get my setup to work I had to disconnect all the cable.
I then use the RCA cables on the sender and plugged it into the RCA audio and video on the cable box ( I left the TV disconnected).

I then plugged the receiver in and plugged into video 3 on my seconday TV.  Once the seconday TV start working I used the coax for my primary TV.

Now my problem is changing channels. Please help X10 guy. My roommate is laughing at me. She said it would have been cheaper to get a second cable box. I want to get the TV on the deck working. So, she can buy me a couple of drinks free. :)

I'm having some trouble with the Video Sender too.  I can get everything to work on my secondary TV using the RCA Out on the cable box, but the only way I can see anything on my primary TV is by unplugging the RCA cables from the back of the cable box.

Do I need a switch box now? ???

I figured it out!!

Everything works!  I just had the TV/VCR button pushed for my TV, so the cable wasn't showing.  It's working now!
