I solved the crash of the Hardware Interface Configuration problem on my system by copying an xml file called ICities into my AHP directory.  I have AHP on several systems - the one that kept crashing was missing this file.  It seems to be a file that contains city latitude and longitude data.  Let me know if you would like me to e-mail a copy of the file to you.

This X10 stuff sometimes requires a little patience - I've had my wife hide our sledge hammer for that reason.  B:(

Good luck with your installation.  Hope this helps....

The software I was trying to use was indeed the problem. ActiveHome 1.42 does not work with the CM15A. Too bad the web site didn't let me know that!

Thanks to all that helped troubleshoot my problem. Without you, the system would be reduced to dust under a 5 pound sledge hammer.

Thanks to raster69273 for steering me to the "REAL" software. Someone called it "flaky" which is far too kind a word!

My next hurdle is trying to figure out why this garbageware crashes whenever I go to the "Hardware Interface Configuration" window. Any thoughts on THAT matter?

OK, I suspect that that attempt to use Active Home software with Active Home Pro hosed the AHP installation somehow.  The ONLY way to correct it is to delete AHP totally and reinstall it from scratch, including deleting the Program Files/ActiveHomePro and Program Files/Common Files/X10 folders.  If you have any .ahx files that you created you can back them up first.

My system crashes and I've read that it is because I am missing the iCities.xml file, too.  Would you mind emailing the file to me, Please?

Thanks
