Pop ups

Are Pop Ups Helpful?

I love them.

Well I was one of the lucky onces that could click an email link and not get the pop up or sound Not any more ! now I get the DAM sound before the popup even starts!
Interestingly Not one X10 employee has posted to this thread ! I Had read that alot monitor these forums! SEEMS thats NOT true! Looks LIKE my days on this board are numbered!maybe  the other boards I monitor will pick up now SEE YOU ALL THERE!

I've emailed "X10 Pro" with a link to this discusion asking that the issue be brought to the attention X10 management.
BVC let's me tell my camera where to go!

I haven't seen one for at least a week.

I use Firefox for general browsing, and it has a pretty good pop-up blocker.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

Even if they didn't admit the mistake, its good that the pop ups stopped.

A modest proposal for X-10 Marketing:
How about limiting the popups to new members of the forum - the popups stop once a member has logged in or posted 2 or 3 times, or graduated from a one-star to a two-star member.

If that puts too drastic a crimp in your marketing plan, how about limiting the number of times any given popup will appear to a member in any one month. (Yeah, I know the marketing credo is that the more times an ad appears the more likely a sale, but still...)
Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

I just noticed that the pop ups on the X10.com site now include the option to give feedback.
I did!
