Does the RecvAction event fire when the DS10A sensor is tripped?

I haven't tried it, but I don't think the SDK sees security system events.  This may change when X10 releases their security system plug-in, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

My reference was to the SDK being updated to support the new plug-in functionality, not the release of the plug-in, but thanks for the links.

I found a workaround.
Create an appliance module and assign a house and unit codes that does not belong to anything, like P1
Create a macro and Select Use Security, Set Trigger to the DS10A and select "Sensor Triggered", drag the appliance module to the workspace and select "On".
Create another macro and Select Use Security, Set Trigger to the DS10A and select "Sensor Closed", drag the appliance module to the workspace and select "Off".
Now when the window opens, you'll get - recvplc, p1, On
When the window closes, you'll get - recvplc, p1, Off
Hope this makes sense and helps someone.

EdwinWeston Good work arround!

I've just ordered the OnAlert plugin so I'll  be able to monitor the security modules I wish this way using X10dispatch or one of the other thirdparty addons!
Thanks for the tip! ;)
Once X10 updates the SDK this may not be needed but gets things working in the mean time!
