ws477 on 4 way system? can i use mechanical switches?
« on: November 08, 2006, 01:15:17 PM »

if i'm going to install a ws477 in a 4 way light system (3 way <-> 4way <-> 3 way) do i need to use x10 switches in all the other points or can i use the original mechanical switches installed and just use the single x10?

You have to use X10 switches in all the locations on that system.  But only one WS4777 is used - all the rest are the X-10 Companion switches.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.
