Tuicemen and everyone else reading this thread. I plan to fill it out and send it in tonight when I get home from work. I also plan on sending in a follow-up maybe once a week to ask if there is any update.

One thing that the guys in the cheers gang can do to promote this is as follows. I am going to temporarily change my sig line to include the link and ask for members to go fill out the form so we can get our own room. Once we get one I will change my sig line back which will change it for all my posts removing it from the boards later. But for now its an easy way to get the message out to everyone since it will appear in all your posts, new and old.

New Update

I emailed Yahoo back asking for some time frames as to when we might see our room. Told them we had 6500 members and we wanted to make an announcement. Here is their reply

Each room request is evaluated by our Production, Abuse and Legal teams
prior to creation and we unfortunately cannot say how long the
evaluation can take.  Our production team is aware of your eagerness for
the room to be created and are currently evaluating the request.

I filled out the customer service survey E-form (they emailed me) the other day. It contained two "fill-in" spaces that I used to request a homeautomation chat room.
