Keep this thread alive, AHP and the SDK still suck.
The x10 corp could spend about 15K on a decent programmer
and sort all this out in sixty days.
Forget bothering to keep this a proprietary, it doesn't deserve it.
Hire someone to make compatible drivers for W2K and up, publish
them open source, Linux will follow automatically in 90 days after
the release of the drivers like magic.
They would see their hardware LEAP off the shelves, no matter
how bad it was, we accept it and live with it's shortcommings
for it's price point.
This stuff was coded by children, what a sad mishmosh everywhere you look.
It was coded more than 10 years ago, with some parts probably at 15 years old.
They really should OS this stuff, and stand back.
I'm not buying anything else x10 from any source until AHP loads properly on a well
(ab)used W2K system.
till then it's EBAY and CM11's, and x10 can pound sand.
