Using On Alert and Security system
« on: January 19, 2007, 09:22:13 AM »

I have recently purchased the full home automation set of software and the full PS561 security system.  However, I am not sure how to make the OnAlert system manage devices (when each one needs a unique address) and the security system needs all the devices to be on the same address.

How do I do this - am I just confused?

In OnAlert, yes each security device (Door/Window Sensor, Motion Detector, Remote) does require a separate House Code / Unit Code Address. But on the PS561, this does not apply... you just register them with the console via the install mode. The House Code on the PS561 is just for the security lights & sirens that you want to flash & sound.
