I have an extensive X10 network, most of which works as designed.  But there is one set of modules that the computer doesn't turn on when timed, even though all the others do.  I don't even see any activity in the activity monitor for that time and HC.  I have a whole-house filter, a repeater phase coupler, lots of filters and coupler-receivers.  I just don't understand why the computer won't send out the signal on this HC (B2) as timed, even though it will control the modules on this HC manually.
I am new to this forum, so forgive me if I have overlooked a answer elsewhere; I looked but didn't find one.

Are your timers stored in the Interface or run from the PC?

Where are the working timers stored?

Timers are stored in the interface, and all of them seem to run OK except for this one.  When I run it from the computer, it works OK.  I have cleared interface and downloaded, deleted the module and then re-did it.  On the activity monitor, it doesn't show any activity at the designated time. I'm stumped.

If other timers are working and you can control the modules (for the timer in question) manually, and you deleted and re-did the module & timer without success, then the only thing I can think of is a possibly corrupt AHX file.

Maybe try creating a new AHX file with just this one module and a timer and see if that works. But make sure you backup your existing AHX file first.

   I tried that, and the module will turn OFF via timer, but not ON.  Weird.  Maybe I should try downloading the entire AHP file?

When all else fails....
Just make sure you save you AHX file in a safe place so it doesn't get deleted when you uninstall / re-install. That way you only have to re-setup your Hardware Configuration and Preferences.

I copied the AHX file, uninstalled AHP, downloaded and re-installed, put in the copied AHX file, and same thing happens.  I have a module set by timer to turn on at 9:00 AM daily.  Nothing in the activity history shows between 7 and 10 AM, when other things are scheduled to happen.  It is as though the timer for this module doesn't exist, though I can control the module from the computer.  I really feel stupid and frustrated about this; there must be something elementary I'm missing here.

Moved the AHX file out and created new module for the subject circuit.  Set timer for on and off.  Verified that can control the circuit from computer.  Then watched to see if goes on and off.  Tried several times, setting the timer for the next few minutes on and off, etc.  Never goes on, but if I manually switch it on, will go off at set time.  Off signal appears in Activity Monitor, but not a timed on signal.  Any ideas as to what is going on?

CharlieB: Sorry but I'm lost on this one. Something is not logical here. Maybe if you can post a screenshot of your timer, something more obvious might appear.

Charlie I have a similar problem and I am also stumped.  I have one circuit that will not respond to the timer.  There are two lights and a duplex outlet on that circuit.  One light is on an X10 module the other is not.  I plugged in a lamp module set to the same code A7 and it works everywhere else except that one circuit.  I also have a TM751 Transceiver remote and using an HR12A Remote Control I can turn on the A7 light.  If I remove the TM751 and direct the remote at the programmed controller it does not work.  I have a Phase Coupler installed and have checked it with a circuit tracer and it is working just fine.  Weird stuff isn't it.  Any ideas Puck?

I take it that you plugged the TM751 into the same circuit as the A7 Lamp Module?

Is the circuit tracer you mention an X10 signal tracer / noise detector or an AC wire / breaker identifier? I suspect you have a noise source or signal sucker associated with that circuit. If it works with the TM751 plugged directly onto that circuit, then it is probably applying a strong enough PLC signal to overcome the problem, whereas your CM15A signal is degraded too much by the time it arrives at the A7 Lamp Module.
