You should be able to get a 20 foot steel pole at either Lowe's or Home Depot.

I agree with Dan... And if the camera is going to be in a fixed position you can setup a fake bird house and put the camera inside with the lens blocking the hole so birds don't invade it. If you don't mind birds you can put the camera above the bird house and let the birds use it. I would put the camera above only yo help keep down the bird droppings from landing on the camera.

Thanks Guys! I appreciate the information. Birds (and ants) own Florida, so maybe its best to get on their good side.

What I like to do is expose one camera... to make it easy to spot. Then aim all cameras so they can "watch each other" as they focus on the house. That way if you mess with one camera, your "caught" by another one.

Excellent point! Figuring out layout seems like 90% of battle, especially real close to suspect neighbors on single level houses. That makes it especially challenging so you're strategy seems valuable.

I like your plan. Perfect position for additional security options. e.g. It would be easy to add a moat around the house.
