This really is off topic, but I do find this
all hilarious.  Saying that the Chinese
produce X10 products isn't technically
racist, it is nationalist, but also
factual.  If these products were made in the
United States they would cost a LOT more
because the factory would have to pay at
least minimum wage.

The hilarious part is that NoTaReTuRnInGcUsT
fell for and jumped on YKZ_Pilot's obvious
and humorous rants about not liking x,y, and
z but LOVING the Chinese.  He was BAITing
NoTaReTuRnInGcUsT ...

Just alone saying they are using Chinese is
not racist.  The context was and is,
however, in a list of several complaints
about X-10.  This person obviously was
complaining that they are using Chinese
people.  That is definately racist.

They seldom like being exposed for who they
are.  That is why so many like to wear
hoods.  We should expose them all.  They
probably will never change ... but like
cockroaches when the lights come on ...
they will flee.

Mark, you work for X-10 and are telling
people to turn off their firewalls??  If
anything were to get through while
the "firewall was off on the advice of a
rep", X-10 may be held responsible in some
states.  I work for a very large web based
company (one might ever call it a "monster"
of a site) and if we ever told a customer to
turn off his firewall, they would tell us
to "go to H###"...

Brian H states: "Multi posts are not you.
The forum from time  to time does that." - I
can only add, their site works as well as
their products and 10 times better then
their reps...

I have also been searching for sample pictures and can't seem to find any examples.

You would think that there would be an image library to see examples in various applications.

If someone has some examples could you please post them in this forum thread.

Tks

Perhaps with the new board users will share some of their pics with others in the mean time you can see some at AccessHA 1 wide eye(inside),1 instant on (outside overcast) and a few lowlight (various light levels)
As soon as I get might outside cam setup again I'll post a few here. ;) :)
Also removed most of the double posts in this thread hopefully it makes for better reading!

I have been trying to get my wireles cameras to work now for quite some time. All I can tell you is that unless you get lucky, They are garbage! Don't buy them. I have tried every suggestion written under trouble shooting and still cannot get good reception on more than one camera at the same time. And even then it has to be within 10 feet of the reciever. Everything interferes with them. If you have 2.4Ghz phones, a wireless router, the receiver too close to your computer or even have noise on the power lines just forget it. The list goes on and on. If you have one camera within 6 or 10 feet of the receiver and they both remain motionless it may work. Oh yeah, I read something just yesterday that stated if your house has the kind of insulation with foil on it, it may interfere also. It's a joke.Gimme a break. Who has the time to go through all of this nonsense. They don't tell you this before you buy them however. The reason you can't get some one to send you guys an example of good picture quality is because it's like Bigfoot, even though you want to believe, it just doesn't exist.

Today was my first time using the cam and I have to say the picture quality is not too good. The lens is defective and from what I’ve been reading other people are having the same issue. Its like looking through a bubble dome in need of cleaning or replacing.
Indoor lighting the image is really bad. Its seems like the 256 color pallet  drops down to 8 and the video is always blurry. No matter the light level or how much the focus settings are adjusted.

I have a support ticket in and hopefully someone can help me.
