Lamp Module Help
« on: July 02, 2007, 06:50:39 AM »

Hi

I'm a total newbie to X10 and have recently acquired a TM12 transceiver & remote, a few lamp modules and an eagle eye PIR detector as well as a CM11USB PC control device.

The TM12 works fine with the small hand held remote and I have managed to get my PC to be able to switch the lights on and off using that.

I've also got the lamp modules to work in lamps that plug into the ring mains, but they do not work if plugged into the ceiling lights. I have also noticed that they won't work in certain rooms, but do in others, whilst plugged into the ring mains.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Apologies if this is real newbie stuff too!!

Best regards,

Phil

The tutorials referenced in this thread should help:
