ActiveHome and beyond, really...
I'm putting together a system for my home, primarily for door and window security.
(No desire for cameras, and the pets would trigger motion sensors)
I've ordered a batch of DS-10As and a power horn, and am looking at the W800RF32A receiver.
I expect to tie it all together with a PC, and prefer not to roll the software from scratch.

I see ActiveHome Professional highly touted here (unless there's something newer), but want to make sure of its compatibility.
The receiver is serial interfaced; can AH Pro select that, or is it strictly USB?
How many DS-10As can the software (and/or receiver) handle?

Is there a commonly used wireless control panel? Or just use small remotes? (No passcode?!?)

AHP only works with the CM15A USB Interface and can only be part of the AHP Kit purchase. In fact you get an email address where you download the software from the net with loader program.

Life wouldn't be the same for me without it! Be sure to get the complete software suite with the AHP, including On Alert. Also look in the third party software.

But just to be on the "safe" side.... you should pick-up the DS7000 too.
