This proposed appilication may be to touch to accomplish, but I thought I would put it out there anyway. The most important component of the set-up will be its total weight as I have been asked to attach it to something that flys. The system needs to support a camera signal, sent to a transmitter, sent to a receiver, sent to a computer, sent to the internet via an wireless aircard - all running on battery/solar power.

If its possible - Any ideas, suggestions, short cuts?

Not sure if they have done all you need to do. They have used X10 Wireless Cameras in RC Planes and Helicopters.

Interesting....I would have thunked the X10 paddle antenna would have been too directional to do this.

I learn something every day.

Just yesterday I learned you shouldn't jump in the community pool while still wearing your Depends. They really absorb water and get heavy. Everything is fine until you climb out and wonder why everyone is laughing.

I have also bought a "stray" non-X10 2.4 GHZ wireless camera (below). For my under-the-deck wire pulling tool. it uses a 9V battery. And in another post suggested a quick way to battery power a receiver unit. I used a car starter and small power converter.
