I thought the remote would have buttons for each House Code, plus a way to easily access the 16 Unit Codes.

The unit is designed, with the assumption that the User would have all Unit Codes under one House Code (for example House Code "A").  The advertisement for this item, left me under the impression that it would easily handle all  16 "House Codes", plus all 16 "Unit Codes.

The device can handle all House Codes, but it is a rather complex function, to change to different House Codes.  For Example:  I have a different "House Code" for each room/location.

Is there a remote control that can easily activate "House Codes, A thru P", and "Unit Codes 1 thru 16" that would transmit directly to my WGL 30020 External Antenna?

Yes, switching house codes is a standard problem. Some afix a wheel or tab to the house code wheel of a PalmPad remote to make switching faster/easier.

Not that I am aware of.

Could one assign the X10 device code, to the other four device buttons, and assign each a different house code???

If that worked, you would have control for 5 house codes, but of course, no TV nor VCR.  :D
