Seems everyone I know using the 64 bit version of windows 7 like it better then 32 bit.
Thought I don't why yet. Lots of hardware and software won't work on it. though I think the main issue is drivers.
I've been able to Update a dll which was causing an issue in 64 bit (tapi related) so it looks like I won't need to cripple the software in order to use it on a 64 bit system.
Once I get the main program running ( debugged ) I'll examine all the plug-ins as I'm sure at least one of them I failed to build for 64 bit.

Fixed issue with 64 bit windows, Issue was a couple of dlls which loaded on start up.
Rebuilt installer so it updates these dlls, it ignored and never over wrote them before .
Removed some unneeded example files from installer so it is now a smaller download.
Fixed lock out screen from reappearing in remote options screen when flipping from custom remote to all remotes and back
Fixed error screen pop up for remote mouse if file doesn't exist

****New Plug-in pack now on server****Updated: for 64 bit CommandControler (remote mouse VCR commander controller) & added pop up to info screen to set up VCR Commander inside PCC if not configured

Text2Wav and SecurityInformer were not changed as they worked on my 64 bit OS.

The new link for PCC  as the auto updater in program will fail to catch any new updates. The next update will fix this issue.

I was able to recreate this!
I'm not sure why the installer worked in some cases and not in others 
The issue was with the installer I've posted a new installer on my site which should fix the issue.
At least it did on the machine I tested.
Funny thing is once I fixed the issue and tried to duplicate it to be sure I couldn't.
Let me know if you get the same error with this new installer.

For those that haven't Updated yet!
I've created a new plug-in installer and it is on the server. However your going to need version 3.0.6.6  to retrive it when 3.0.67 is uploaded to the server which will be any day now.
I've included a new face set in this package as a thank you for your support!

downloaded the latest and good news no more crashing  Thank You....   maybe one day i'll be able to read the directions and by the non-trial version and start using it too its full capacity    I just don't have the time in the near winter future, i own a heating and cooling company and we are swamped for the next month

The newest up date for PcCompanion is now on the server.
If you have 3.066 installed the download link in the options screen will get you the newest version.
Also it will get you the latest Plug-in pack if you have a previous version installed in the PcCompanion root folder.
PcCompanion will auto install the plug-in pack installer will get placed in the PcCompanion Backups folder. From there you can install the plug-in update.
PcCompanion version 3.06.7 has only a few enhancements
Added minor labling
Removed some redundant code
Added a Pitch adjustment to voice settings

The Pitch adjustment really adds a nice touch for your voices even if you only have the default ones from Microsoft.
So now besides rate/speed up or down and volume, you can also raise or lower the tone/pitch of the voice .
Using both of these settings I was able to change my Paul voice to sound much like that of Jack Nicholson.
And now the female voice can be made to sound much more friendlier.

The Plug-in pack basicaly fixed the update links and adds the Nicole face set.
