X10 from a standard PIR without powerflash
« on: April 29, 2008, 06:16:28 AM »

Hello all,

My first post here, so sorry if it's in the wrong place.  I have 6 wired 240v standard PIRs and want them to transmit an X10 command when triggered.  From what i've read so far, I could use a relay to trigger a powerflash module which inturn sends the command.  However, i have limited space on a few of the PIRs and plugging in a powerflash isn't an option without alot of wall chasing and cable pulling, so i was wondering if I could use a micro module like a TMA4 to replace the relay and powerflash?

Is this possible, or am i being a dumb noob and misunderstanding the use of a TMA4?

Thanks
