I have a new system with 4 cameras and the Vanguard software. As I was installing the system I powered up each camera in the computer room and programmed the software for the camera, then installed the camera in it's place. I have a system that totally works, except for the email being sent out when motion is sensed. If the motion sensor is within ten feet of the computer, the picture is taken and an email is sent. If the motion sensor is out by the camera and motion is sensed, Vanguard will switch to the perspective camera, but no picture is taken and no email is sent out.

I bought a usb extension and mounted the cm19a high up on the wall as suggested, but it still will not work. I suspect that the motion sensor is doing it's job since the camera turns on. I also suspect that the signal sent out by the motion sensor is not being read by the cm19a (pc transceiver). My ninja works, so I know that the cm19a is working.

Does anyone have any suggestions, tech support is also stumped.

This is what x10 has to say (if you call tech support this is what they would say:

      If your Motion system covers a large area, you can use the SR731 Smart RF Repeater to extend the range for your X10  sensors and X10 home automation wireless remote controls. You simply plug in the Smart RF Repeater somewhere near the middle of your home. It will receive the RF signals from your sensors and re-transmit them to your console, thus doubling the range of your system.

I am a installer, I know that will help. The motion sensors transmit just right the receiver doesn't really receive good. by the way You picked the correct software.
