modules will not work on one wall in house
« on: July 16, 2008, 11:15:06 AM »

I have one wall in my house that is all on the same circuit breaker and will not allow my active home pro system to activate any modules on that wall, I have checked all the modules on other walls and they work just fine, I disconnected the swith to a switched outlet on that wall to ensure my tv and other componets were not accidently turned off but ensured that all wires were tied back together and ensured that the ground was grounded as well. Any advice on trouble shooting this problem would be greatly welcomed. Thank you.

The problem is probably one or more of these three issues:

1)  That breaker is on the other phase and you have no phase coupler installed.

2)  There may be a major "signal sucker" somewhere on that circuit that needs a filter.

3)  There may be a noise source on that circuit that needs a filter.

You might want to read some of the troubleshooting tutorials at:  http://jvde.us/x10_troubleshooting.htm
