If you've written a program that uses the CM15A libraries, then your end user probably does not want or need to install the SDK. But he does need the libraries installed on his system.
He needs to run the ahscript_setup.exe file which comes with the SDK. This runs fine in Windows XP and Windows 2000 with no command shell appearing.
But in Windows Vista the user has to run this program in XP Service Pack 2 compatibility mode and with Administrator rights. But it does run and install on Vista. I just hope that with the end of XP being available as an operating system with new computers that X10 will update their drivers making it easier to install for end users on Windows Vista.
