Hello,

I have Active Home Pro and the CM15a.  The CM15a works perfectly for timers and when running from the PC, but I can't get macros to run from the CM15a. 

I have two simple macros that turn appliance modules on for 1 minute and then off. When I run from the PC the macros work and I can trigger remotely using the remote pad.  I trigger off of A15 ON and that causes the A10 to go ON then OFF.

Here is the activity monitor when I run the macro from the PC:

The one difference is that it says macro, not transmit, when I run from the cm15a interface.  I dont' know if that is normal.

Everything I have seen indicates the signal is strong and that the CM15a can control the other devices perfectly.  The timers seem to work just find.

Any help you can provide would be welcome.

UPDATE:

I started to get occasional success, and thought it might be a self interference issue.  So, I added a 15 second delay at the start of the macro and that seems to make it run more reliably.

That was a difficult one as the system runs fine on timer and when just controlling from the PC, so the signal did not seem to be the issue.  I should add that I have a mini controller as well as the cm15a on the network, so perhaps that is causing the interference problem.

Starting macros with a delay can be risky. Generally speaking there's no problem on a basic macro but  starting an else with a delay can cause unexpected execution.

I wasn't using else statements, but it is good to know in case I try it in the future.

BTW, even just 5 seconds seems to be enough delay.

This work around has fixed 2 or the 3 devices i want to control, but one is still not responding to the macro.

Is there anyway to configure the cm15a to transmit a RF command instead of a wireline command? 

The commands issues from the mini controller works great, so if the CM15a could just send a signal that was picked up by the minicontroller I could close the gap.
