FWLROD help
« on: October 11, 2008, 08:44:32 PM »

I just got my FWLROD, and I am trying to program it to my system, but not having any luck. I want to use it on channel 13, so I plug it in, and within 30 seconds, I push my remote (channel 13) and hold it for at LEAST 10 seconds, and nothing

Anyone ever programed one of these before?

Thanks

GOT IT!!!

Plug the FWLROD into the outlet, and within a few seconds, transmit the X10 address plus an ON signal several times (like rapid fire.. A1+ON, A1+ON, A1+ON, A1+ON, A1+ON, A1+ON)

..........(like rapid fire.. A1+ON, A1+ON, A1+ON, A1+ON, A1+ON, A1+ON)

3 times should be plenty.... make sure the device(?) is close to whatever is sending the signal so it is nice and strong.

Yes just like a Socket Rocket. Power on and within 30 seconds send the Address and On signal at least 3 time.
Only thing that can mess up programming either the FWLROD or Socket Rocket is a Motion Sensor tripping while you are trying to program them.
