Motion sensing camera, emailing video

I've been having some packages stolen off my porch, so I'm looking to catch the thief, I should be able to run power to the garage pretty easy to setup the camera.   I want to make sure the video is emailed to me off the motion sensor, in case I have a break in and the PC is stolen

is this possible with the current software?

I'm using vista, but I could setup a XP computer to do the recording I guess

I wish I could say for sure... I think it will... but maybe someone with more knowledge of the vanguard software can help here.

I use Vanguard, and it does do still shots to your email and video recording. I get errors when trying to use video recording and the program terminates, so I just do a still shot every 1 second until motion stops.......I have contacted support, still waiting for a reply
