New Computer
« on: December 02, 2008, 06:17:19 PM »

I have a new computer at a remote location I want to monitor with x10. I can't seem to figure how to get the files on the new computer-the email link sent with the original order doesn't work and when I try to copy the files on to disk to transfer I get errors. Can I have the software on two computers with one purchase? Can you help? Thanks

I don't think so. When I put the software on my new computer I had to call x10 cause  when you verify the registering number it tells you they are already used.

What is your plan. You installing AHP(or other x10 software) on the new computer and want to control x10 stuff with it? Are you still using the software on the old or is it just to control the x10 stuff hooked to your new one.

jsnlong1979 You can have the same files on two computers if your only running it on one PC at a time!

When you retrieve the install files you should have saved them to disk for back up purposes! These files can then be moved/copied to the other PC (what ever means you chose)
Once on that PC you run the files, if you try to run from the opposite PC you most likely will get errors!
