Slimline Wireless Wall Switch as a trigger
« on: January 08, 2009, 12:21:52 PM »

Hello everybody,
I'm new in x10 system and I'm not sure if I can use a Slimline Wireless Wall Switch as a trigger to activate a macro. For exemple, 1st button to activate all lights off, 2nd button for all lights on etc... I'd need this information before buying those.
Thanks for your help.

The macros you want make would be simple to do and could be easily triggered from the wireless wall switch.

The only problem you may have is that the Slimline Wireless Wall Switch is not know for it's range. If you get 100ft you're doing good. Some won't make that. So as long as you're not too far from the CM15A or additional transceiver, it shouldn't be a problem.
