Just to check I have three ss13a's and one rr501, can I use them all with one rr501 as long as I have different appliance (unit) #s with same house code? What is generally the range on ss13a to rr501... Also what are some other good RF modules to use with rr501 for appliance control?

Yes the RR501 can do all 16 unit codes on the same house code. So you can have 16 different addresses for modules. You can also have more than one module on the same address if you want both to follow the same commands. I have two Chime Modules on the same address. One in the basement. I have an ELK-930 doorbell sensor that triggers an PowerFlash module. It then chimes both modules. I also have a Touchtone Responder on the same address so when the phone rings they also chime.  That also lets me call home and turn on and off modules. Limit there is units 1-10 as that is all the touchtones can access.

I use a 16 unit PalmPad for one of my RF remotes. When X10 has a sale sometimes you can find 4 or 6 for the price of one.

2. It varies greatly, depending on what is between the SS13 and the RR501 (walls, metal studs, etc). But is usually 20 feet or more.
3.RF Modules? Do you mean ways of controlling the appliance Module the the RR501 tranceiver?

If so,  Keychain remotes, Palm Pad remotes, Credit Card remotes, and "xxxxxEye" Motion Sensors.
