need help withXPFM
« on: April 04, 2009, 11:09:28 PM »

I cant understand why this module will not turn on. I have noise filters on all of my computer and all tv and audio equipment. The signal strength almost pegs on the Elk ESM1 on the line that it is wired into.I have the XTB-IIR. It will turn off and on with the remote. It will turn off at the scheduled time through the CM15A. What I can't get it to do is turn on through the CM15A at the scheduled time. Any ideas? Thanks

You mean via a timer?  Try changing the device module to a LM14.

The newer Soft Start modules. Act differently so the changing to LM14A as mentioned may help.
I believe the Lamp Modules; Wall switches are now all Soft Start and have even seen the later X1-Pro Dimming Fixture Module listed as Soft Start.

The XPFM is not a "soft start" module and is listed in AHP as a  X10PRO Wall Switch Appliance Module.

Which way are you trying to use to turn it on, the modules timer or by way of a macro? In AHP is it showing as a XPFM module or something else? I assume you have the XTB-IIR set to X10 mode?

Till Later,
Bob

B:( My mistake. Dan is correct the XPFM is the relay version of fixture module and does not have soft start.  ???
The new XPDF dimmer fixture module is Soft Start.
