right flags?

I have two motion sensors which control cameras. They both work fine but I need them to cancel the other one out depending onwhich one trips first. I put flags in each of them, then only one of them but the then nothing worked. Isn't flags the way to go on these?

it would probably be a lot easier for us if you could post a screen  shot or at least show us your macro, and then tell us exactly what you are trying to achieve.     Then we could get a better view and be able to help you more.
