Runn DLL as an App error

After i record anything weather it be motion activated or manually. i get the dll error everytime. this is of no use to me. I leave the house somebody sets off motion it records then crashes..... WTF!!!!!! I have reinstalled and followed tech supports suggestions to no Avail. I have been fighting this(and now my wife) for 4 days. Please help so my wife doesnt think we blew a good chunk of money on a web cam system!!!!!!!! I am using windows xp service pack 3 I tried to install on wifes computer but same thing happens. I have tried renaming the my images folder and completely reinstalling the program (12) times. nothing..... I am at my wits end!!! Help
